Two EKU Horn Students Receive Large Awards to Pursue Graduate Degrees

Andrew Sehmann and Kelsay Jones, members of the EKU Horn Studio, have received large scholarships to pursue their masters degrees in horn performance.  Andrew, a senior horn performance major from Richmond, KY has accepted a graduate assistantship position at The University of Georgia.  He will be studying with Jean Martin-Williams and performing with the graduate woodwind quintet.  The assistantship includes a full tuition waiver and a generous stipend.  Kelsay, a senior horn performance major from Louisville, KY has accepted a full-tuition scholarship to pursue his graduate studies at The Peabody Conservatory.  He will be studying with Denise Tryon, fourth horn in the Philadelphia Orchestra.
